Dr. Saroj Datar is working as an Assistant Professor at Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management. She teaches various General Management and HR Management subjects to postgraduate management students at the institute.
As a researcher, her interest lies in the area of Corporate Sustainability, Sustainable Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Business Ethics and Spirituality. She has authored and presented research papers related to these topics in various international conferences and research journals.
Her Doctoral research was in Corporate Sustainability and she was awarded a Ph.D. Degree by Savitribai Phule Pune University for the thesis titled ‘A study of corporate sustainability initiatives by Indian companies listed on Bombay Stock Exchange’.
She was often invited as an evaluator and expert for assessment centers and management development centers conducted for various corporate houses.
Experience and Achievements
As an academician, she has a wide experience in the education, training and teaching field.
As an Organizer and coordinator, she has been involved in liaising with the agencies and bodies like National HRD network, NIPM, CII, National Entrepreneurship Network, Forum For Free Enterprises, Indian Merchants Chambers, AIMA, BMA, AIMCA, TiE etc. for various activities, workshops, seminars and conferences for the institute. She also facilitated for the outbound experiential learning programmes for the student participants with the objective of team building and developing leadership qualities in them.
She served as an expert member on the inspection panel for Director of technical Education (DTE) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as well as on interview panel for the CET (MAHA) held by Directorate of Technical Education for MBA /MMS entrance tests.
