Chhtrapati Shivaji Jayanti 2026
Introduction
Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JDBIMS), a constituent institute of SNDT Women’s University, commemorated the 396th birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on 19th February 2026 with dignity and institutional pride. The celebration was organized to honor the legacy of the great Maratha ruler and to reflect upon the relevance of his leadership principles in modern governance and management practices.
The program was anchored by Ms. Aditi Salve and Ms. Prajakta Borse, who highlighted the historical significance of Shiv Jayanti and emphasized its importance as a platform for deriving leadership and governance lessons applicable to contemporary management education.
