Tree Plantation by Hon’b VC Madam
Introduction
On 10 th May, 2024 a tree plantation event was organized at JDBIMS under the leadership of our esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ujwala Chakradeo hereafter referred to as VC Madam. The event aimed to promote environmental conservation, sustainability, and community engagement by planting trees on the institution's premises. This report provides an overview of the tree plantation initiative, its objectives, organization, and outcomes.
Objectives
- Environmental Conservation: To contribute to environmental conservation efforts by planting trees to mitigate climate change, enhance biodiversity, and improve air quality.
- Sustainability: To promote sustainable practices and foster a culture of environmental responsibility within the institution and the broader community.
- Community Engagement: To engage students, faculty, staff, and local community members in a collaborative effort to enhance the campus environment and create a greener, healthier campus ecosystem.
